  1. Issue of Multi City Cheque books: Savings Bank (SB) [leaf = 1 page in chequebook]
    • For all Segments - First 10 cheque leaves free in financial year
      • But after that — 10 Leaf Cheque Book at ₹40/- + GST
                                            25 Leaf Cheque Book at ₹75/- + GST

Income Tax Tips
  1. TDS (Tax deducted at Source) - amount cut and then send to employee (like me)
    • Deductor = Company ........ Deductee = Salaried Employee (me) ........ Website
    • TDS is deducted on base amount and not on GST 
      • Eg - base amount = 100 → GST = 18 and TDS = 10% → 10 deducted
    • If something is expense → TDS must be deducted (If not, then treated as income)
      • Expense is like giving salary to employees or rent
    • TAN number is issued by Income Tax department to deductor (like PAN issued to each individual) → company use it to pay TDS collected back to government

Photography Tips
  1. JPEG (Joint photographic experts group) vs PNG (Portable network graphics)
    • PNG is lossless but JPEG is lossy.
    • JPEG does not support 16 bit channel and transparency.
    • For flat illustrations means where colors can be counted and are in limited numbers => Use PNG
      • BUT for real photographs if don't want transparency and 16 bit use JPEG
