Photography Tips
- JPEG (Joint photographic experts group) vs PNG (Portable network graphics)
- PNG is lossless but JPEG is lossy.
- JPEG does not support 16 bit channel and transparency.
- For flat illustrations means where colors can be counted and are in limited numbers => Use PNG
- BUT for real photographs if don't want transparency and 16 bit use JPEG
